“I grew up surrounded by gardens and plant lovers. Years later, working in corporate central London, I realised I didn’t have enough plants, nature and green space in my life - and felt worse for it. Luckily, with horticultural knowledge, I was able to change this by turning my city space into a vegetable growing, wildlife haven in which I could get my green fix.

But I soon realised that not everyone knew how to do this for themselves. Co-workers, friends and followers of my urban gardening blog were forever asking for ideas and advice, confused about how to transform their courtyard or patio into the green oasis they craved.

And so Rocket was born - a garden design initiative prioritising wildlife and wellbeing. An opportunity to transform city and suburban spaces into personal retreats, with areas to entertain, grow edibles, welcome bees, cook, relax, work from home… or whatever you most need from a garden.”
